Age Proves no barrier to conservation efforts

Andy & Chris Corser, with Chris's mum Bettine, 80, were featured recently in the Wairarapa Time-Age for their incredible work in maintaining a trapline at Cape Palliser. Clearing and resetting traps is vital work in reducing predation and setting the foundation for the eventual return of species that were once abundant.


At 80, the former GP even rides on the back of a quad bike -- but she has to hang on tightly.
"I love it, I think it's a wonderful project and I'm very passionate about the environment and keeping it clean."

We're very grateful for their tireless work and that of everyone who is helping in our restoration efforts.
